Developing the working model into a product is the concern of this stage in the development .

A pre-production prototype will prove the final design.

PCB Layout
Mechanical considerations, such as size and shape, together with electrical and electronic requirements determine the layout of the PCB. Tracking and the provision of heat dissipation and EMC considerations are also dealt with at this stage. A Bill Of Materials (BOM) is drawn up, specifying all the components in the design.

Prototype
Bare PCBs and the components required to build the prototype are sourced and acquired. The required number of prototypes are built and tested.

Evaluation & Sign-off
You will now test the prototype to ensure that the functionality agrees with the specification drawn up earlier. When you are satisfied that it works to your satisfaction, you will sign off the design. It is now ready for production.
