Whether you are developing a new product or working to research a new idea, you will want to keep the work secret until the launch.

Almost all the work we do is done under a confidentiality agreement, which normally takes the form of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

NDA
The NDA is a simple contract between the two parties which protects your idea from becoming known to outsiders, in particular to your competitors. It binds us to keep all your documentation and communications secret, and prohibits us from working on potentially conflicting products. You may have your own contract, or you could use the one we provide (see link on right).

Related Patent Issues
The use of an NDA is particularly important if you are likely to want to take out a patent on your idea at a later stage. Disclosing the idea without an NDA may constitute 'prior disclosure' which would automatically disqualify you from being granted a patent.
